True Love Means Talking About Anything

Even awkward and uncomfortable things…like your bowel habit. This special box of Valentine’s Day chocolates is designed to help you do just that. Each chocolate represents a bowel cancer symptom you and your loved one need to look out for. If present, have them checked out.

Bowel Cancer is the Deadliest Cancer for People Aged 25–44

Jammy
Blood in your poo

Represented through an oozy, red-blood orange caramel centre.

Airy
Weight loss you can’t explain

Symbolised with a cinched shape and a light, aerated bubbled chocolate.

Gooey
An obvious change in your bowel habit

Such as constipation or diarrhoea. Featuring a hard, dark chocolate outer shell with a runny Vegemite caramel centre.

Chunk
Lump or swelling in your abdomen

Characterised by crunchy biscuit clumps in vanilla ganache, in a dark chocolate shell.

If you experience any of these bowel cancer symptoms for two weeks or more, make an appointment with your GP.

Meet the Artist

Bowel Cancer Australia collaborated with Artist, Designer, Chef and Food Designer, Ryan L Foote to create Irregular Chocolates.

From its special 3D printed shape to the recipe, each chocolate has been specifically designed to represent one of four bowel cancer symptoms.

Delicious elements like texture, consistency and flavour-cues have been considered to make this delicious learning experience truly unique.
